Long Island College Hospital was on an ambulance diversion since 8:15 p.m. Wednesday night due to a water main break. The hospital did not accept ambulances until they were cleared Thursday evening.  Damage to the hospital is minimal, according to reports. The emergency room was still accepting walk-in patients.
