Lower East Side Favorite Elsa Relocates Bar To Cobble Hill

The former staple of the Lower East Side bar scene is back serving cocktails at 136. Atlantic Ave.

COBBLE HILL, BROOKLYN – A staple of the Lower East Side bar scene has moved its watering hole to Cobble Hill, according to reports. Elsa began serving drinks at 136. Atlantic Ave. in Cobble Hill earlier this summer.

The bar closed on the Lower East Side in 2014 with the landlord saying he wanted to open his own establishment, according to Gothamist. That bar proved to be short-lived.

The reopened Elsa is similar to the original, with some new touches like mirrors and marble, “The New Yorker” reported.
