on Court Street serves healthy and warming Eastern European comfort foods like borscht and potato pancakes. On a recent afternoon I stopped in for lunch and was pleasantly surprised by my hearty, yet healthy, meal.
The potato pancakes can be ordered with sausage or kielbasa, or lox and onions, but I opted for a side of roasted veggies. The veggies - carrots, mushrooms, onions - were caramelized and deliciously salty, but the pancakes themselves are really what made this dish.
On the plate were two large pancakes, still piping hot. They exterior was crispy, the inside moist and chewy. And the flavor of the potatoes wasn't masked by oil or salt.

They were served with both apple sauce and sour cream. Yum!
