Signal Problems Snarl F And G Service During Morning Commute

Signal problems at the Bergen Street station caused delays to the F and G lines during the morning commute in Brooklyn, the MTA said.

COBBLE HILL, NY — Signal problems snarled service on the F and G lines during the Thursday morning commute in Brooklyn, the MTA said.

The MTA said signal issues were reported at the Bergen Street station at about 8:47 a.m. on Thursday, causing delays on the F and G in both directions.

The issue knocked out G train service between Church Avenue and Bedford-Nostrand Avenue and caused Manhattan-bound F trains to stop along the D line between Coney Island-Stillwell Avenue and the W Fourth Street-Washington Square stations, according to the MTA. The problems also impacted Manhattan-bound A trains.
