The day features shopping, a pie-off with celebrity judges, kids activities provided by the Children's Museum of the Arts and much more. and had a great time. "Cobble Hill's P.S. 29 is facing a tough year," wrote organizer Jodi Leone in an email. "The school's PTA needs to raise $632 per child to cover current programs not covered by the Department of Education – a tall order." Leone says Eat Pie &amp; Shop is part of the solution.  Celebrity chefs include Gail Simmons of Food &amp; Wine and "Top Chef," Dannielle Kyrillos of "Top Chef: Just Desserts", Chef Marc Anthony Bynum of Food Network's Chopped and on Court Street and Jeff Lederman of , and The winner will receive a gift package from Food &amp; Wine and "bragging rights for the year," according to Leone. Judging will take place at 1 p.m. This event is "designed to draw pie lovers and community members alike," said Leone.
