1. The American Airpower Museum (AAM) scheduled its C-47 D-Day 'Living History Flight' Experience on May 14 (rain date May 15). You will fly on an original World War II Douglas C-47 Skytrain transport aircraft named 'Second Chance.' Book your C-47 flight by calling 516-531-3950 or 631-454-2039 (during business hours) or visit the Museum’s gift shop Wednesday to Sunday, 10:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., Hangar 3, 1230 New Highway in Farmingdale. 2. According to an Anti-Defamation League report that came out Tuesday, antisemitic incidents of assault, harassment and vandalism, including 618 in New York, reached an all-time high in 2021. The ADL reported 2,717 attacks on Jewish people in 2021, a 34 percent year-over-year increase, according to the ADL, which began tracking antisemitic incidents in 1979. (Patch)
3. Bayron Fajardo-Gonzalez, 34, was sentenced to 20 years to life Wednesday for murdering his girlfriend, Tania Fox, 45, in front of her 9-year-old daughter in August 2020, Suffolk County District Attorney Ray Tierney said. (Patch)
