LI Ducks To Host 'Bark In The Park'
Long Island Duck fans can bring their dogs to "Bark in the Park" at the Memorial Day game.
CENTRAL ISLIP, NY — If you're yearning to watch a baseball game this Memorial Day, your four-legged friends may be able to enjoy it with you.
Long Island Duck fans are invited to bring their dogs to “Bark in the Park” at Fairfield Properties Ballpark in Central Islip on May 30 at 1:35p.m. The Ducks will be hosting the Gastonia Honey Hunters, and ballpark gates open at 12:35 p.m.
Dog owners will be required to sign a waiver upon entering the ballpark. They are also responsible for their dog’s actions. If your dog is acting aggressive and making other fans or pets uncomfortable, you and your dog will be asked to leave the premises, its website said.

No additional ticket purchase is required to take part in the event. Dog owners must also abide by the following rules:
- Dogs must be on leashes at all times
- No dogs will be allowed in the Duck Club or club/suite level of the ballpark
- Doggie bathroom and water bowls will be available
- Dog owners are responsible for cleaning up after their dogs
