1 Dead After Being Hit By Harlem Line Metro-North Train In Chappaqua
This is the second fatal Metro-North incident in Westchester County this week. A 59-year-old was killed on the tracks in Port Chester Wed.

CHAPPAQUA, NY — One person is dead after being struck at the Chappaqua train station by a Harlem Line Metro-North train on Friday.
The person killed was trespassing on the tracks, according to Metro-North officials.

An MTA spokesperson told Patch that the Harlem Line was temporarily delayed while MTA police and local authorities responded to the incident, which took place around 9 a.m. on Friday.
The victim has not yet been identified and officials say that the investigation is still ongoing.

The incident resulted in approximately 10-15 minute delays, with Harlem Line service returning to on or close to schedule at around 11 a.m., MTA officials said.
This is the second fatal Metro-North incident in Westchester County this week. On Wednesday, 59-year-old Gabriel Rocael Barrios, of Mamaroneck, was killed while trespassing on the Port Chester train station tracks.
