HUDSON VALLEY, NY — 'Tis the season for giving back to your community. There are a number of ways that you and your family can help others through the holidays.

Every day through Christmas, Patch will be highlighting a way you can provide compassion and resources to those in need.

Volunteer New York! makes it easy to find ways to help — through donations, supporting nonprofits and even volunteering from home.

Today’s opportunity is for Fantastic Finds Boutique, volunteers and interns needed.

Fantastic Finds is an upscale resale boutique in Chappaqua where all proceeds from its sales benefit Support Connection’s free, year-round breast and ovarian cancer support services.
Volunteers are needed to help at the shop and assist customers with finding the perfect outfit, gift, or household item. This is a great opportunity for adults who enjoy retail as well as college students looking for a regular internship.

The store is open Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Volunteers and interns work in 3-hour shifts of their choice (10 a.m.-1 p.m. or 1-4 p.m.).
