Bridge Construction Means Weekend Lane Reductions On I-684 This Summer
The new traffic patterns will start on Friday nights and continue until early Monday mornings, on four upcoming weekends.

WESTCHESTER COUNTY, NY — Construction on I-684 will mean traffic disruptions beginning this weekend.
The New York State Department of Transportation says that Westchester County drivers should be prepared for Interstate 684 to be reduced to two lanes in each direction between Exit 2 (State Route 120) and Exit 3 (State Route 22), in the Town of North Castle, for bridge construction.
Work will take place over four weekends, beginning at 7 p.m. on Friday nights, through Monday mornings at 7 a.m., weather permitting:

- Friday, July 11, through Monday July 14
- Friday, July 18, through Monday, July 21
- Friday, August 1, through Monday, August 4
- Friday, August 8, through Monday, August 11
The NYSDOT is reminding drivers to slow down and drive responsibly in work zones. Remember, fines are doubled for speeding in a work zone. Convictions of two or more speeding violations in a work zone could result in the suspension of your driver's license.
