Chappaqua - Mount Kisco Winners Among The Best Of Westchester

The 2016 Best of Westchester Awards given by Westchester Magazine include businesses and resources in Chappaqua and Mount Kisco.

Westchester Magazine has named the winners in its 2016 “Best of Westchester Awards.” Chappaqua and Mount Kisco claimed a few winners. Quite a few restaurants made the cut.

Westchester Magazine calls the cuisine “New American.” Delicious entrees are created using plenty of local organic ingredients. The restaurant also has an impressive wine cellar.

The food hall features nine food stations, each with their own menu. They include Charcuterie, which offers smoked and cured meats; the Rawsome Seafood Bar, Inno Sushi, Rotiss-A-Q, Piacci Pasta Bar, Fucco Wood Fired Pizza, Dirty roots by Myong, which serves Korean-inspired dishes; and Wraps.

Mt. Kisco Seafood, 477 Lexington Avenue, Mount Kisco

Despite the name, Mt. Kisco Seafood offers meats, cheeses and desserts as well as 40 varieties of fresh fish.

Sherry B Dessert Studio, 65 King Street, Chappaqua

The dessert studio’s sweet artistic creations include cookie sandwiches, cupcakes, brownies and bars, cheesecakes, crumb cakes, and pound cakes, puddings, and frozen treats.

Village Social Kitchen and Bar, 251 Main Street, Mount Kisco

The Village Social Kitchen and Bar has an eclectic menu that includes wood-fired pizza, ahi tuna, ribs and macaroni and cheese. The bar is lively and diners can eat outside in warmer weather.

Westchester Burger Company, 353 North Bedford Road, Mount Kisco.

The restaurant has locations in Mount Kisco, White Plains and Rye Brook. While the name would suggest that burgers are the best thing on the menu, you can also order chicken, dumplings, jalapeno poppers and many other entrees.
