C.W. Brown, Inc. Earns Westchester Green Business Certification
The public-private partnership helps businesses become more sustainable while helping the bottom line.
C.W. Brown, Inc. of Armonk has been designated as a Westchester Green Business – Certified.
The contractor received the distinction under a public-private partnership begun last year by Westchester County and The Business Counsel of Westchester. The Westchester Green Business Challenge, launched in 2009, helps businesses become more environmentally sustainable while saving money and improving performance.
C.W. Brown employs numerous sustainable measures, from solar panels to tubes that carry sunlight deep into the building, to a compost garden on the grounds where vegetables thrive.

Westchester County Executive Rob Astorino and Dani Glaser, co-founder of the Westchester Green Business Challenge, will visit C.W. Brown March 3 to mark the designation with Renee Brown, President and Chief Executive Officer of C.W. Brown, and others from the company.
