See Inside The Real Life X-Men '97 X-Mansion Airbnb In Westchester
Thanks to a new Airbnb listing, you don't need to be a mutant to be accepted to the real Xavier School for Gifted Children. See inside.

NEW CASTLE, NY — By now, most moviegoers, comic book fans (and Saturday morning cartoon veterans) know that the fate of the world is often determined on the seemingly quiet Westchester County campus of the Charles Xavier School for Gifted Children, but until now, the only way to see inside was through the power of Hollywood.
Thanks to Airbnb, even those of us born without mutant abilities will have a chance to see firsthand inside the mansion where the X-Men live and learn.
It can be intimidating to step into the storied home of the X-men — even if your name is Cyclops or Wolverine. Don't worry though, because your reservation includes an orientation, according to the Airbnb listing.

Once you unpack, there will be plenty of time to enjoy the picturesque Hudson Valley countryside, but don't get too comfortable — the Xavier School has the toughest curriculum in the known universe (and most mirror universes).
Your stay includes a visit to Beast’s lab where you’ll learn to "power-up" with mutant energy elixirs. Yes, and also a visit to the world-famous "Danger Room," where combat professors will teach the ins and outs of superpowered combat. In the "War Room," those skills will be put to the test.

Of course, an official diploma and class photo will be available for those who withstand the trials of learning to hone their mutant powers.
For those of us without designs on being humanity's last line of defense, but who dream about Gambit's secret recipe beignets, breakfast is served.

The fantasy-turned-reality accommodation is part of "Icons," a new category of experiences hosted by the greatest names in music, film, television, art, sports (in this case, famed X-men member "Jubilee"). The company said the goal is to let guests step into the worlds of their wildest dreams.
"Icons take you inside worlds that only existed in your imagination—until now," said Brian Chesky, Airbnb co-founder and CEO. "As life becomes increasingly digital, we’re focused on bringing more magic into the real world. With Icons, we’ve created the most extraordinary experiences on Earth."
Other Icons experiences include a night suspended in the air in the house from "Up," a chance to sleep in the Ferrari Museum and a slumber party "ride along" with comedian Kevin Hart.
You can apply for admission to the storied Xavier Academy here. Request to book the rooms made famous by the X-Men by 11:59 p.m. PT on May 13, 2024.
