MOUNT KISCO, NY — The votes have been tallied in the Democratic primary in Mount Kisco as candidates for mayor sought to earn the right to be on their party's ballot line in November.

Mayoral race: Lisa C. Abzun is the apparent winner of the contest for the mayoral nominee. She captured 54 percent of the votes leading Tom Luzio with 46 percent of the votes with all districts reporting returns.

Abzun was congratulated by fellow Democrats on social media for her hard-fought victory over Luzio.
