Neighbors Link Hosts Fall Luncheon With Speaker Alejandro Mayorkas

On November 6th, Neighbors Link will host their annual Fall luncheon. Each year Neighbors Link uses this luncheon as a way of introducing the community to a speaker with deep insight on the issue of immigration. This year Alejandro Mayorkas will join Neighbors Link as their speaker. Mayorkas served as Deputy Secretary of Homeland Security from 2013-2016, where he managed some of the most complex and critical responsibilities of the government. Prior to becoming Deputy Secretary, Mr. Mayorkas served as Director of US Citizenship and Immigration Services, where he implemented a series of transformative initiatives, including the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals Program (DACA), the Citizenship Awareness Initiative and the Entrepreneurs in Residence program. The luncheon will be held at the Old Oaks Country Club in Purchase at 11:30am. Tickets and sponsorships available here. For more information, please contact Eva Kelly, Director of Development and Communications at 914-666-3410 ext. 114 or ekelly@neighborslink.org.
