(White Plains, NY) State Supreme Court Justice Charles Wood presided over the swearing in of 100 new United States citizens at a naturalization ceremony on Wednesday, January 8, 2025 at the Richard Daronco Courthouse in White Plains.

Barbara Napoli and Kathy Schreiber, both members of the Polly Cooper Chapter, NSDAR, were delighted to participate in the naturalization ceremony by presenting American flags, flag code booklets and flag pins to officially welcome these newest citizens of the United States. Naturalization ceremonies are the final step immigrants must take before becoming a US Citizen, after passing a US citizenship interview and exam.

The National Society Daughters of the American Revolution was founded in 1890 to promote patriotism, preserve American history, and support better education for our nation's children. Its members descend from patriots who won American independence during the Revolutionary War. NSDAR is one of the world's largest and most active service organizations.
