Pink-Handled Pistol, Open Bottle Of Tequila, DWI On I-684: Troopers
The 28-year-old from North Carolina had a blood alcohol concentration (BAC) of 0.09 percent, according to New York State Police.

ARMONK, NY — A driver in Westchester who was over the limit wasn't exactly keeping a low profile, according to troopers.
New York State Police say that on May 15, around 1:57 p.m., a trooper from Somers stopped a 2021 Honda Accord for several traffic violations, on I-684 in Armonk.
During the stop, the trooper saw a pink-handled pistol in plain sight. After a search of the car, the trooper found a loaded SCCY CPX-1 9mm pistol and an open container of tequila.

State police say the driver, identified as 28-year-old Emmanuel T. Poage, of Fayetteville, North Carolina, was also found to be impaired, with a blood alcohol concentration (BAC) of 0.09 percent.
Poage was arrested and charged with felony second-degree criminal possession of a weapon, felony second-degree criminal use of a firearm, felony first-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, misdemeanor driving while intoxicated, and misdemeanor driving while intoxicated with a BAC of 0.08 or more.

He was arraigned in the Town of Bedford Court and released on his own recognizance. Poage is scheduled to appear again in court on May 28.
