Man Left With Broken Face After Fight At TAO In Chelsea: Police

The popular Chelsea nightclub and restaurant was recently the scene of a four on one fight that left a man hospitalized.

CHELSEA, NY — TAO, a popular nightclub and restaurant in Chelsea, was recently the scene of a four on one fight that left a man with a fractured orbital and multiple lacerations, the New York Police Department said.

The fight happened around 4:10 a.m. on Oct. 30, but the police just sent out pictures Tuesday of the people wanted in connection to the melee.

On Oct. 30, a 37-year-old man got in a yelling match with a person outside of TAO at 92 9th Avenue, police said.

The dispute quickly escalated, at which point the two individuals got into a physical altercation, police said.

Seeing that a physical fight had kicked off, three other individuals also began attacking the 37-year-old man, police added.

The man was eventually taken to Bellevue Hospital, where he was treated for a broken orbital and multiple cuts, police said.
