NEW YORK, NY — The holiday season is here and there is lots to do in New York City this weekend.

From a Brooklyn rendition of a holiday classic to a 15-foot menorah lighting, there is plenty to do around the city this weekend.

Saturday

Jerry Seinfeld at the Beacon Theatre: Upper West Side of Manhattan

There are few entertainers more intertwined with New York City than Jerry Seinfeld, and you can check out the famous comedian this weekend at the Beacon Theatre at 2124 Broadway.

The Brooklyn Nutcracker: Flatbush, Brooklyn

The famous King's Theatre in Brooklyn is hosting two renditions of the Brooklyn Nutcracker on Saturday.

The reimagined holiday classic fuses ballet, hip-hop and a myriad of word dance genres to create the show.

The shows are at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m.

Emily in Paris Pop-Up Shop: Centre Street, Lower Manhattan

In honor of "Emily in Paris'" return to Netflix on Dec. 21, Netflix is hosting a themed set of pop-up shops on Centre Street between Broome and Grand streets.

There will be a holiday market, pastries, champagne, crepes, and flowers.

Brooklyn Chamber Orchestra Kids Holiday Concert: Brooklyn Heights, Brooklyn

The Brooklyn Chamber Orchestra will host an interact live concert for kids on Saturday at 157 Montague St.

The show will have from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., and feature songs by Bach, Bernstein, Beethoven, Mozart, and more.

Sunday

15-Foot Menorah Lighting: Seaport Square in Lower Manhattan

A 15-foot menorah will be lit on Sunday for the first night of Hanukkah at the Seaport Ice Rink at 89 South St.

The ceremony will take place from 2:30 to 5 p.m.

There will also be crafts, face painting, ice carving, snacks, and more.

New York Panettone Festival: Long Island City, Queens

Panettone is an Italian type of sweet bread, and a festival celebrating the tasty treat and other culinary creations from Italy is taking place at the Piazza at 5241 Center Boulevard in Queens this weekend.

"This festival will represents an assortment of artisanal-new generation Panettone from the most famous 'Maestri Pasticcieri Italiani' and will serve to distribute the Italian culinary expertise and culture of quality Panettone to NYC’s 'foodie' community," reads a blurb for the festival.

It lasts from noon to 7 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.
