West Chelsea 3Eleven Apartments Launches Walking Tour: 3Eleven

People will be able to move into the apartments in October, according to a 3Eleven spokeswoman.

CHELSEA, NY — Walking tours have started at the 3Eleven 60-story luxury apartment complex in Manhattan, a spokeswoman for the residential skyscraper told Patch Saturday.

People will be able to move into the West Chelsea apartments, located at 311 11 Ave. and West 30 St., in October, the spokeswoman added.

Erected by Douglaston Development and designed by FXCollaborative, the 695-foot-tall structure has 938 units with 703 market-rate rentals and 235 that are reserved for affordable housing, according to YIMBY, a real estate outlet.

The units range from studios to two-bedroom apartments, they include wide-plank flooring, designer appliances and fixtures and solar shades. The complex also comes with resident lounges, co-working spaces, a fitness center, an outdoor pool, multiple roof decks and a children’s playroom, YIMBY reported. Music studios, an indoor and outdoor dog run, and an on-site parking garage with bike storage are other features of 3Eleven.

There is also a Throw Me A Bone full-service pet care business offering veterinary, grooming, walking and boarding services at the apartment complex, according to the real estate outlet.

The affordable apartments, which had a housing lottery launch in June via NYC Housing Connect, are for people making between $26,00 to $144,000. The market rate units are for people who make 40 to 100 percent of the area median income. Construction for the skyscraper and the interior fit-out is expected to be completed in the summer, YIMBY added.

“Creating 3Eleven has been a true labor of love, from inception years ago to its fruition today,” Steven Charno, president of Douglaston Development told the real estate outlet. “We overcame countless challenges along the way, including initial site rezoning and even a global pandemic, but each milestone reached exemplifies the grit and triumph of our team.

“We are fortunate to have worked alongside extraordinary partners, including the Ares Management Real Estate team and architect FXCollaborative to bring this project to life.”
