5 Local Fundraisers to Support

1. : Hit the links and raise money to honor the lift of Commack resident Frank Rizzo at Stonebridge Golf Links & Country Club.

2. : Whether it's just a trim or a full hairdo change, all proceeds at this benefit go to the American Cancer Society. Raffles, food, and music round out the event.

3. : Kids, enjoy this half-mile fun, which starts before the 5K at 8:30 a.m.

4. Cougarettes Yard Sale: One person's trash may be another person's treasure, and any purchases will help fund the Commack Cougarettes. Clothing, household items, toys, books and many other items will be on sale at Wood Park Primary School from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on October 2.

5. : Help create a day care scholarship for needy families at the Suffolk Y JCC.
