COMMACK, NY — Fountaingate Gardens, a retirement community in Commack, opened a brand-new golf putting green on campus, the community announced.

The new amenity was unveiled with a ribbon-cutting ceremony and will bolster the independent living community’s recreation and wellness options.

Dedicated in memory of Florence and Alexander Goldberg, parents of Fountaingate Gardens member Ed Goldberg, the professionally designed green was created with both novice and seasoned golfers in mind, offering a low-impact way for all the Fountaingate Gardens community members to remain active, socialize and enjoy the outdoors.
