The Commack Board of Education will hold a meeting tonight at 7:30 p.m. at the High School.
Thursday's agenda includes a discussion on a proposal regarding forming a Marion Carll Property Committee.
The historical property was donated to the school district by the estate owner, however Carll's heirs have claimed in court that Commack school officials have failed to maintain the property as a museum and use it for educational purposes, as outlined under stipulations of the donation.
Many residents say that they would like to see the property be available to the public.
