Crime Log: Dine and Ditch; Heroin Arrest

A look at recent arrests by Suffolk County Police.

The following information was supplied by the Suffolk County Police Department. A criminal charge is only an accusation, and does not indicate convictions.

  • Gregory Miller, 46, of Commack was arrested in Commack on a charge of theft of services. Police said Miller had been drinking at Jackson’s Restaurant and left the bar without paying the bill.   
  • Joseph Ancona, 21, of Commack was arrested April 26 at Radburn Drive in Commack on a charge of petty larceny. He was also arrested on a charge criminal possession of a controlled substance for heroin in the seventh degree, a misdemeanor.
  • Richard Saglimbeni, 31, of Commack was arrested at Route 25 in Commack and charged with driving while intoxicated. According to police, Saglimbeni was speeding along the roadway when he was pulled over and charged with DWI.
