Event Spotlight: Auction to Help Local Families in Need

The is hosting a Las Vegas-style auction Thursday night to benefit the Suffolk Y JCC Scholarship fund.

This is a chance to have fun for a good cause, as the scholarships will help Suffolk County families in need to pay for child care and other social services.

In addition to the silent acution, raffles and Vagas-style games, the fundraiser, which begins at 7 p.m., will feature snacks and live entertainment.

A $25 admission fee at the door buys you two raffle tickets. Additional raffle tickets will also be on sale throughout the night.
