Feb. 21: Take The Kids Out for Some Fun
Kick off President's Week with one of these local events.

To kick off President's Week while your home with the kids, here are some exciting events happening in the area today.
1. : Encourage your kids to put their week off to good use by participating in this baseball training clinic. This 4-day camp runs from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and is open to grades K-7. It will keep them from bouncing off the walls at home too. Win-win.
2. : To keep your youngster entertained, head down to the Monter Early Childhood Center at , where they're hosting Winter Animal Week. Open to 3- and 4-year-olds, this program lets kids explore polar bears, penguins and other exciting Arctic animals. A daily craft is included. You can register for one day or the whole week, the choice is yours.

3. : For a fun outdoor activity, hit the ice at the skating rink at Tanger Outlets at the Arches. Today from 4-7 p.m. is cheapskate—admission and skate rental costs only $7.
4. : Start off your week in Zen. This mother-child class, held every Monday at 9:30 a.m. at Simplicity Yoga, teaches relaxing tandem poses. If you ask us, $15 for some relaxation is well worth it.
