Fires Set At Commack Park Spark Police Investigation
Police are searching for whoever was responsible for lighting two fires in a park bathroom last week.

COMMACK, NY — Suffolk County police are investigating two fires that were set at a Commack park last week, and they're asking for the public's help to identify who's responsible.
According to police, a fire was started in the drain pipe in a bathroom at Whitman Hollow Park, located at 1000 Map Lane, on Nov. 2. Another fire was set in a pipe in the same restroom on Nov. 6 or 7, and was reported on Nov. 8.
Both fires caused minor damages, but no injuries, police said.

Police are asking anyone with information about the fires to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All callers will remain anonymous.
