High School Students Compete For School Spirit

Each grade is competing for the title of most school spirit--who will win?

The students of are no strangers to school spirit, having earned top honors in the category across Long Island in 2009.  Generally a united front, all of Commack's students band together to support their school and root for their beloved Cougars. This week, they're switching it up by competing against each other for the title of most school spirit.

During Spirit Week, each grade goes head-to-head to see who displays the most pride for the school. Students in each grade work together to build and promote school spirit, and coordinate their outfits with the theme of the day. Every student who participates each day is awarded one point per theme-related item of clothing worn, and the grade that accumulates the most points by the end of the week wins the coveted title of having the most school spirit.
