A man was hospitalized Thursday after his car was rear-ended by a tractor trailer truck on Jericho Turnpike in Commack.
The man, who was driving a Hyundai Elantra, was waiting at a traffic light near Townline Road when the driver of a tractor trailer hit his vehicle from behind, emergency workers said.
Commack Volunteer Ambulance and Commack Fire Department responded to the scene.
The man was sent to St. Catherine's Hospital for minor injuries.
