Two women stole merchandise from in Commack on Tuesday, July 26, police said.
According to Suffolk County police, the pair entered the clothing store located on Jericho Turnpike and stole several items by stashing them in their purses.
The shoplifters were confronted by a store employee, but refused to stop and fled the store in a gray 2003 Hyundai with a license plate reading FFY 1883, police said.
Police valued the stolen items at more than $250.
