Question: Have You Visited Commack's Cemeteries?

A drive or stroll through the streets of Commack will reveal that the hamlet is home to several cemeteries.

Earlier today, Patch highlighted the stories behind these burial grounds. These small graveyards mark the final resting places of some of the area's most famous families, including the Browns, Burrs and Smiths.

Many residents are familiar with the Commack Cemetery, which holds the remains of Civil War vets and other notable locals such as Marion Carll.
