Suffolk County reported the following information related to COVID-19 on February 7, 2022. Last updated February 6, 2022

COVID-19 Vaccine Information

• 1,200,880 people have received at least one vaccine dose, an increase of 504.

• 1,080,026 people is fully vaccinated, an increase of 584.
• 95.0% of the population ages 18 and older has received at least one dose.
• 73.7% percent of the total population is fully vaccinated.
• 85.1% of the population ages 18 and older is fully vaccinated.
• 77.9% of the population ages 5 and older is fully vaccinated.
• 42.7% of fully vaccinated population have had a booster dose.

• Vaccination rates by zip code.
• Walk-in vaccination clinics are offering COVID vaccines to Suffolk County residents who are age 5 and older as well as booster doses to all who are eligible. Appointments are recommended. Medical practitioners and EMS are on-site at all times to answer questions and tend to concerns. Click here for locations and times and parental consent forms. • 5,932 COVID-19 tests were administered.
• 6,944,567 total tests have been administered since March 2020.
• 260 new cases were reported.
• 17.6 cases per 100k; 33.2 on a 7-day average.
• 418,796 total cases have been reported since March 2020.
• 4.4% tested positive in Suffolk County; 5.3% positive on a 7-day average.
• 4.8% tested positive on Long Island; 5.3% positive on a 7-day average.

Fatalities, Suffolk County, February 6, 2022

• 12 fatalities:
• 4,267 fatalities since March 2020

Hospitalization, Suffolk County, February 6, 2022

• 371 individuals were hospitalized, an decrease of 8 in 24 hours.
• 33 were new admissions.
• 61 patients were in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), no change in 24 hours.
• 33 patients were in the ICU and intubated.
• 36 were discharged since the last report.
• 22,593 have been discharged since March 22, 2020.

Hospital Capacity, Suffolk County

• 3,101 hospital beds, 1,241 available, 40%
• 376 ICU beds, 121 available, 32%
