Good morning, Commack. Here's a look at what you should know about today in town:
The Suffolk County Police Department Fourth Precinct will host a 'National Night Out Against Crime' in the parking lot next to Target located at 98 Veterans Memorial Hwy. from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m.
This is a free, fun, family event that will have specialized units from the police department, local fire department, the Commack Coalition of Caring and various community groups.

Police said that the main attraction will be the specialized units that attend from the police department including the Canine Section, Emergency Services Unit, Marine Bureau and others.
Along with the theme of emergency services is also emergency preparedness. Those who stop by will learn about Code Red, Special Need Registry and Learn Hands Only CPR.
