About 170 Commack residents lost power in their homes Friday afternoon, according to the Long Island Power Authority's outage map.
The outages were caused by a tree limb falling on a wire, Elizabeth Flager, a spokesperson for LIPA, said in an email.
It's a first for Commack, and perhaps Long Island: a drive-thru pizza, wings, hot dog, and Italian ice joint, where customers can get appetizers, dinner and dessert all in one stop.
