Teens Take Action: Sandy Relief Project - Community Garage Sale
A group of eighth graders from Commack Middle School are holding a community garage sale on April 13 from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. at the Middle School to help Long Beach residents and students pick up the remaining pieces from Hurricane Sandy.

Enjoy having an original portrait of you painted while you relax and sip a delicious beverage. Watch the art unfold each Sunday from 5-8 p.m. this month at Perfecto Mundo. Anu Annam is an award-winning Long Island based Indo-American portrait artist and art teacher. She will paint her trademark Expressive Watercolor Portraits in about 30-45 minutes so patrons can own a ready to frame portrait of themselves or a loved one. A 9"x12" piece is $40.

Want to have some cool fun this Friday? Rock out at The Rinx with tunes and friends, starting at 8:15 p.m. Friday. Admission is $12.
Family Fun Day
STEP Preschool is sponsoring a Family Fun Day on April 14 from 1:30 p.m. until 5:30 p.m. at 905 West Jericho Turnpike in Smithtown to help raise money for Juvenile Diabetes.
