Weekend Spotlight: Cougarette Car Wash, Farmer's Market and a Summer Concert

Saturday, Aug. 13

: Get your car washed by the Commack Cougarettes in the parking lot of from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Support our national champions.

: Escape the heat and take the kids to from noon to 2 p.m. where they can get back into school mode and make a folder out of duct tape.

Sunday, Aug. 14

: Listen to music under the stars at . Evolution will be playing classic Journey hits starting at 7 p.m. Don't forget to bring a blanket or chairs to sit on.

: Get farm fresh vegetables from local growers at Kings Park's weekly farmers market, which is held at 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the municipal lot on Main Street.
