2025 Town Of Babylon Mobile Beach Passes On Sale
Mobile beach passes for Town of Babylon beaches are now on sale, officials announce.
BABYLON, NY — It's still winter, but beach lovers can start getting ready for summer fun now that Town of Babylon mobile beach permits are on sale, town officials announced Monday.
According to the town, standard resident passes are $45. Meanwhile, passes are $20 for seniors 60 and over, active military and active Town of Babylon fire department members.
Last summer, town officials announced a new mobile beach permit system aiming to reduce long waits and improve beach accessibility. Residents can now obtain the mobile beach passes on their smartphones using the new Town of Babylon Yodel Portal or by downloading the Yodel App on Apple and Android devices.

Users must upload photos of their license and car registration with matching Town Of Babylon addresses while volunteer fire, EMS, veterans, and active military will require additional documentation.
According to the town, the mobile beach pass is used "exactly" like the sticker beach pass, which will be available in the spring. The mobile beach pass is linked to a vehicle, not to a person, just like the stickers and can be used at Overlook Beach, Cedar Beach, Gilgo Beach, Cedar Beach Marina and Campground, Venetian Shores, and Tanner Park.
