Deer Park Fire Department Hosts Annual Holiday Toy Drive

DEER PARK, NY — The holidays are right around the corner Deer Park Fire Department is accepting donations for its third annual toy drive with a "mission to bring smiles to the children at Cohen's Children Medical Center.

The fire department announced the toy drive in a social media post on Tuesday, writing: "Join Us for the 3rd Annual Toy Drive!

"We’re thrilled to announce that this year, OUR LOCAL WARRIOR JOSEPH BAGGIO, the Deer Park Fire Department, the Mangano Family Funeral Home, and our new partner, The Works Barbershop, are coming together to make our toy drive bigger and better than ever to support the children at Cohen’s Children Medical Center!

"Let’s come together, Deer Park, to spread joy and hope to those who need it most this holiday season. Thank you for your support and generosity!"

Donations may be dropped off in Deer Park at the Deer Park Fire Department, Mangano Family Funeral Home, and The Works Barbershop.

The fire department is also hosting a holiday parade on Saturday, Dec. 7, at 6 p.m. Donations will also be accepted at the parade.

All toy donations will be accepted until Saturday, Dec.14.
