Deer Park Schools Raise Record Donation For Veterans, Earn Top GI Go Fund Honor
The Patriot Club's districtwide campaigns brought in the most money Deer Park has ever raised for the GI Go Fund.

DEER PARK, NY — Deer Park School District was recognized as the top donor to the GI Go Fund this year after students and staff across all buildings rallied behind two districtwide initiatives supporting veterans.
This year’s campaign generated $1,100, the highest amount the district has ever raised for the cause. The donation benefits the GI Go Fund, a nonprofit that assists veterans with employment, housing, financial support, and access to essential services.
The effort was led by Deer Park High School’s Patriot Club, which organized the annual “Red, White & Jeans” and “Hats for Heroes” fundraisers. Students and staff wore patriotic colors, hats, and jeans to raise awareness for veterans facing challenges after returning home.
