Deer Park's 2025-26 School Budget Results Are In

See whether the Deer Park School District's budget passed this year after voters across Long Island cast their ballot on Tuesday.

DEER PARK, NY — Residents within the boundaries of the Deer Park School District on Tuesday voted to pass the 2025-26 school budget by a margin of 740 yes votes to 242 no votes.

The district's budget is $153,320,108, up 6.2 percent from last year's. The tax levy is $80,887,169, up 1.81 percent.

For the Board of Education, voters reelected incumbent Vice President Kristine Rosales with 686 votes and incumbent trustee Jerry Jean-Pierre with 694 votes, both running unopposed.

For the open seat held by trustee Anthony Henkel who was not seeking reelection, Grace Heyne received 563 votes and Barbara Ojeda received 336 votes.
