East Northport Man Seriously Injured In Dix Hills Crash
The man crossed oncoming lanes and struck a tree early Saturday. He was taken to a hospital in Bay Shore.
DIX HILLS, NY — A 27-year-old man from East Northport was seriously injured in a single-car crash in Dix Hills early Saturday morning, according to Suffolk County police.
Patrick Salvo was driving a 2019 Mazda CX-5 northbound on East Deer Park Road just north of Deforest Road North around 3:10 a.m. when he lost control of the car. He crossed the southbound lanes and struck a tree, police said.
Salvo was taken to South Shore University Hospital in Bay Shore in serious condition.
