Does anyone in your family work in politics or government?
I do not have any relatives in politics.
Previous public office, appointive or elective
I have never held nor ran for public office prior to this.
Why are you seeking this office?
I am running for office because I was fired from my job because I refused to be vaccinated. In addition to the illegal mandates, one party rule in Albany has brought us increased crime and rising inflation. We need to restore a balance of power in Albany.
What are the major differences between you and the other candidates seeking this post?
I am new to politics and bring a fresh perspective and ideas. I have work experience in both the private and public sectors, which provides me a unique insight into what is important to both sectors. I also come from a law enforcement background, where I was vowed to protect and serve. I will continue to uphold that promise while in office.
If you are challenging an incumbent, in what way has the current officeholder failed the community?
The current incumbent has grown out of touch with the community. Many people in the community feel like their voices are not being heard. When I am elected, we will hold monthly community meetings in each town so the people to have an opportunity to discuss the issues they are facing.
What other issues do you intend to address during your campaign?
I attend to create safer streets, ending illegal mandates and work to reduce the rising cost of living in New York.
What accomplishments in your past would you cite as evidence you can handle this job?
I come from a small business family where I learned about the struggles that small businesses have been facing, especially through Covid. I managed a retail store where I learned the value of fiscal responsibility. As a law enforcement officer, I took an oath to protect and serve that I will always uphold. Lastly, I worked in civil service, which gave me experience with some government operations and unions.
What is the best advice anyone ever gave you?
The best advice I was given is "Whatever you do, give it 100%".
Is there anything else you would like voters to know about yourself and your positions?
As an elected official, my job is to serve the public. When elected, my office will be open for in-person meetings. We will respond to all calls and inquiries. Lastly, we will serve the entire community equally, ensuring that each community's concerns are being heard.
