Motorcyclist Hospitalized After Crashing Into Honda On Long Island: Police

A motorcyclist was seriously injured in a crash with a Honda on Long Island on Wednesday morning, Suffolk County police say.

DEER PARK, NY — A motorcyclist was seriously injured in a crash with a Honda on Wednesday morning, according to Suffolk County police.

Shamar Fraser, 25, of Amityville, was operating a 2022 Yamaha motorcycle southbound on Commack Road when the motorcycle struck an eastbound 2012 Honda Civic at the intersection of Marcus Boulevard around 11:12 a.m., police said.

Fraser was transported to Good Samaritan University Hospital in West Islip for treatment of serious injuries, police said.

The driver of the Honda, Dalila Cruise Aguilar, 44, of North Babylon, was not injured, police said.

Both vehicles were impounded for a safety check, police said.
