N. Babylon Singers Make Nassau Suffolk Vocal Jazz Ensemble
Three students selected for the group were honored at a recent school board meeting.

North Babylon High School will contribute three students to the Nassau Suffolk Vocal Jazz Ensemble, a competitive group of singers who will perform in two concerts this year, one at Adelphi University in January and the other at the Tilles Center for the Performing Arts in May, after rehearsing with students from schools throughout Long Island.
According to a statement released by the school, students Elijah Andrews, Daniel Benson and Carolyn Mistretta were selected for the vocal jazz group based on their "outstanding auditions, sight reading ability and recommendations from their choral teacher Christina Henderson."
The three students were honored for their accomplishment at the Sept. 19 meeting of the North Babylon School District Board of Education.
