New Storm Briefing Released On Hurricane Jose

Long Island is not out of the woods yet. Conditions could deteriorate overnight. The latest on pesky Hurricane Jose.

Hurricane Jose has been little more than a nuisance on Long Island Tuesday, but Jose, the 10th named of the Atlantic hurricane season, plans on sticking around for another day.

A tropical storm watch remains in effect for Suffolk County. Coastal flood warnings are in effect for the entire South Shore of Long Island as well as the North Fork. The flood warning expires in Nassau County at noon Wednesday and at 2 p.m. in Suffolk.
