NORTH BABYLON, NY — North Babylon residents have spoken.
The North Babylon School District's 2023 to 2024 proposed budget of $137,814,282 with a budget-to-budget increase of 6.22 percent and a taxy levy increase of 2.17 increase has passed with 779 votes for "yes" and 407 votes for "no."
In the race for Board of Education, four candidates ran for three seats.

Krystle Barnett received 799 votes, Keisha Rivers received 753 votes Jeffrey Myers received 826 votes, and Theresa Callahan-Caroleo received 514 votes.
Barnett, Rivers, and Myers have officially been elected as trustees and will serve as trustees for a three-year term.
