DEER PARK, N.Y.— Deer Park’s John Quincy Adams Primary School marked World Kindness Day on Nov. 13 with a schoolwide celebration that brought every student and staff member together for a symbolic display of unity.

Classes lined up outside to form the word “#KIND,” a visual reminder of the school’s commitment to fostering compassion, empathy, and positive behavior throughout the year.

Principal Christopher Molinelli said the activity ties directly into the “four be’s” that guide JQA students each day.

“Every morning, we remind the students at JQA of our ‘four be’s,’ and one of those be’s is to be kind,” Molinelli said. “Kindness is a gift that costs nothing, but can mean the world to the person you give it to.”

The event was part of the school’s ongoing efforts to build a nurturing, supportive environment where even the smallest acts of kindness are celebrated.
