DEER PARK, NY — Suffolk County Legislator Tom Donnelly returned to familiar ground during Deer Park High School’s 2025 Homecoming Parade, joining students, school leaders, alumni and neighbors for the annual community celebration.
Donnelly, a lifelong Deer Park resident and 1984 graduate of Deer Park High School, marched up Deer Park Avenue alongside parade Grand Marshal Anthony “Tony” Santoro and members of the Deer Park school community. The Oct. 18 parade carried this year’s theme, “Once a Falcon, Always a Falcon.”
Donnelly represents Suffolk’s 17th Legislative District, which covers parts of Baywood, Deer Park, Dix Hills, Huntington, Melville, North Babylon, North Bay Shore, and South Huntington. He has volunteered for more than four decades with the Deer Park Fire Department.

“As someone who has called Deer Park home my entire life, I personally know just how special this community is,” Donnelly said. “The small-town feel, the pride people take in our neighborhood, and the strong sense of togetherness make it a truly great place to live and raise a family.”
