DEEER PARK, NY — Fans of Radiohead and of British jazz group Sons of Kemet in the Deer Park area won't have to travel far to take in a concert by The Smile, a band made up of members of those two groups.
The Smile is a London-based band comprised of Radiohead's Thom Yorke and Jonny Greenwood and Sons of Kemet's Tom Skinner. The band will play on Jan. 29 and 30 at London venue Magazine, and the shows will be broadcast live to theaters around the world.
Each performance will be combined with a "cinematic livestream and broadcast" and shown at theaters in the United Kingdom, European Union and United States, officials said in a news release.
