Town Of Babylon: Town Clerk Helps Couple Get Married Before Army Deployment

The Town of Babylon would like to congratulate Brittany Pomarico and U.S. Army E-4 Specialist Obed Castro on their recent marriage ceremony performed by the Town Clerk at Babylon Town Hall.

The bride and groom have been in the process of planning a wedding, but were informed in recent days that Castro will be deployed to Germany at the end of this week. On short notice, they had trouble finding an appointment for a marriage ceremony until they reached out to Town Clerk Gerry Compitello. The Town Clerk and her staff were delighted to help the happy couple wed before the groom’s deployment, and they did so in the presence of two very close friends.

The town wishes the couple a lifetime of happiness together, and we thank Castro for his service to our country.
